Can yoga help me to lose weight?

Definitely! Yoga works on different levels. Yoga is not only the physical practice; it helps to improve your lifestyle, mental attitude, brings awareness to the choices that you make.  From my own experience you must apply the whole complex in order to loose weight.  Moreover, yoga can help with the difficult task of maintain your optimal body mass.
Yoga becomes a philosophy of your life.

What should I wear and bring?

I recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. In winter time it is better to wear layers of closing that you can take of or put on if needed.
Yoga mats are provided, but you may wish to bring your own. We regularly clean our mats.  I would recommend that at some point you obtain a mat – it's just nice having your own mat which you get used to practising on and it is simply more pleasant to have your own equipment. Moreover, it is a greater chance that you might build your own practice.

Private yoga sessions are at your home, or in private yoga studio Hendon.

I am new to yoga, can I come?

Beginners are welcome. Each yoga class is carefully designed so that it is suitable for all levels.Modifications of poses are introduced for the beginners and for people with injuries.

Am I too old for yoga?

Definitely not! Yoga is a form of exercise that can be enjoyed from childhood to your advanced years. 

I have back pains, will yoga help me?

Yoga could definitely help you with your back problems. It is important to keep active. Regular exercises will help you to tone your back muscles and support your spine, to improve your posture and bring awareness to your habitual posture imbalances.  Yoga will also produce endorphins, the hormones of happiness that will help to reduce your pains.

Yes, I am insured with British Wheel of Yoga

What are your qualifications?

500h BWY teacher qualification.

How long are you in yoga?

More than 15 years. 

Terms and conditions: 

The payments for the blocks of classes are not refundable and to be used within 2 months. In some of the circumstances the term can be extended to 3 months. 

The payments for the courses are not refundable. Please note, that unused classes of the course do not roll over to the next course.
